Sorrowful…

SorrowPsalm 51

Have mercy on me, O God,
       according to your unfailing love;
       according to your great compassion
       blot out my transgressions.

 Wash away all my iniquity
       and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions,
       and my sin is always before me.

Against you, you only, have I sinned
       and done what is evil in your sight,
       so that you are proved right when you speak
       and justified when you judge.

Surely I was sinful at birth,
       sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts;
       you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
       wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

Let me hear joy and gladness;
       let the bones you have crushed rejoice.

 Hide your face from my sins
       and blot out all my iniquity.

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
       and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

 Do not cast me from your presence
       or take your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation
       and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
       and sinners will turn back to you.

 14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
       the God who saves me,
       and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

 15 O Lord, open my lips,
       and my mouth will declare your praise.

 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
       you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

 The sacrifices of God are  a broken spirit;
       a broken and contrite heart,
       O God, you will not despise.

 In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
       build up the walls of Jerusalem.

Then there will be righteous sacrifices,
       whole burnt offerings to delight you;
       then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Beautiful Lord, wonderful saviour
I know for sure, all of my days are held in Your hands
Created into Your perfect plan

You gently call me, into Your presence
Guiding me by, Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord
To live all of my life through Your eyes

I’m captured by, Your Holy calling
Set me apart
I know You’re drawing me to Yourself
Lead me Lord I pray

Take me, Mould me
Use me, Fill me
I give my life to the Potter’s hands
Hold me, Guide me
Lead me, Walk beside me
I give my life to the Potter’s hand.

When everything is good…don’t forget why!!!

be_grateful

When things are going good, we seem to forget who’s responsible for our happiness….its the same God we turn to when things are going bad, but when things are going good, do we go back to Him and say “thank you”?

I found a few scripts from the bible about being thankful…

Psalm 100-

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

 Worship the LORD with gladness;
       come before him with joyful songs.

 Know that the LORD is God.
       It is he who made us, and we are his;
       we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
       and his courts with praise;
       give thanks to him and praise his name.

 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
       his faithfulness continues through all generations

1 Thes 5:18-

give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Heb 13:15-

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name.

Be thankful to God for everything and when I say everything I mean it:

Be thankful about your bed, your food, your health, the fact that you re alive, because you never know when all of that is going to be taken away from you.  Don’t think that everything you’ve got is because you deserved it, its because God loves you and He promised to take care of you and keep you safe…Go down on your knees every night and tell God how grateful you are for everything He’s done for you, He deserves you, its the least you can do!!!

When you feel like giving up…

giving_up

Sometimes you feel something like what this picture looks like: dark, confused and all you want to do is SCREAM….

The last thing you think that could help you is your faith but it will be your best source of help!!!!

Psalm 42:5 –

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.

Hebrews 11-

1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for.

 3By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. 4By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

 5By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

 7By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

 8By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

 11By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

 13All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

 17By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” 19Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.

 20By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

 21By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

 22By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions about his bones.

 23By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

 24By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. 26He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

 29By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

 30By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.

 31By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

 32And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.

 39These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. 40God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Thank you God for keeping me safe…

thank 100

On 28 May 2009 my boyfriend Chris was taking me to work, we never got there though, we were delayed by a taxi driving in front of us.

As we were crossing the intersection, the taxi, coming from the wrong lane, drove into us.  All I can remember was seeing the taxi turning in front of us and knowing that we were going to hit him

I felt the impact and the awfully loud sound, I think I blacked out when the airbags popped, couse when I opened my eyes, the police, tow truck and caring people were at car asking if we were all right.

I tried to get out of the car but my door wouldn’t open and the drivers door also wouldn’t open only one of the back doors opened, so i climbed over the chairs and got out the back door, finally on my feet

I felt so dizzy and confused, I then realized my cat is gone (she likes driving, so we took her along) all I could think is that had ran away or she was killed, I didn’t stop looking until I found her, luckily there

was a very friendly man who helped us and I could keep Sky (my cat) in his car whil dealing with the police and waiting for our friend to come pick us up.

Finally looking at the car I almost cried, its looks terrible, the poor baby, if you look at the car it looks like we should’ve been hospatilized.

There is nothing wrong with us exept for bruises and pain, but nothing serious…Thanx to the Lord.

 car

When Chris bought the Ope,l the guy, Robbie Bakos from Auto exclusive, gave us his card and on the back of the card there were scripts from the Bible:

John 3:3 –

Jesus answered and said to him:  “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

and

Rom 10:9 –

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved.

Death

Death

John 11:25,26 -

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Dealing with Death – Experienced By Everyone

Dealing with death is a life experience that no one wants to face. Life can often seem like swimming in the ocean during high tide. Even if we know how to swim and jump over the big waves at just the right time, when we least expect it-wham! We are broadsided, and find ourselves spinning and bouncing off the bottom of the ocean with a mouth full of sand. If we fight, it takes longer to get to the surface. But if we float with the current, we come right to the top. Floating when we are frightened is difficult. It takes trust and concentration. Dealing with the death of a loved one is similar.

Dealing with death is largely influenced by what we think of Jesus Christ. It also affects where we will spend eternity. In His infinite love, God sent His Son Jesus to die for us. When we believe in Jesus Christ and that He died as payment for our sins, we are guaranteed eternal life with Him forever.

What about you? Do you know Christ as your Savior today?

john 3If you have not yet made that decision, why not do it now.

Love

kis b w                    What does God say about Love?:

Luke 10:27 –

He answered: ” Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 Cor 13 –

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,but have not love, I gain nothing.

 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

My Opinion:

Think of it as a love triangle:

triangle

As you can see, God is at the top and the two of you are on the bottom, but the two of you are far apart.

The thing comes in that if you and your partner get closer to God you will get closer to each other.

You need God even in your love life.

Ask God to help!!

A person who would not otherwise ask God for help may find it easy to do so if he or she falls on hard times. It’s easier to humble oneself before God when we’re in pain or misery.

You have to be in communication with God every day, no matter what the circumstances.

Prayer

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!  You have relieved me in my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayers.” Psalm 4:1

Many of us have problems with everyday things like: friendship, marriage, work and lots more, not many of us asks God to help us with this everyday problems.  That is what my blog is all about, talking about everyday problems and how to solve it the Christian way.  How God and His word can help you with your problems.

Friendship

An interpersonal relationship is a relatively long-term association between two or more people.

I have a friend and she is having a fight with one of her bests friends, they have been friends for 6 years and it is so sad for me to see that they are giving up because they had a fight or 2….

This is what inspired me to start this blog.

I know that friendship is important to everyone and that if your friend doesn’t do or say what you expected, it might be hard to accept.

Let’s see what God has to say about Friends Failing.

Psalm 41:9-13 -

Even my close friend, whom I trusted,
       he who shared my bread,
       has lifted up his heel against me.

  But you, O LORD, have mercy on me;
       raise me up, that I may repay them.

  I know that you are pleased with me,
       for my enemy does not triumph over me.

  In my integrity you uphold me
       and set me in your presence forever.

 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel,
       from everlasting to everlasting.
       Amen and Amen.

Luke 17:3,4 -  This one is very important, friends usually divert because they cant forgive each other, but God says we have to forgive 70×70 times….

So watch yourselves.
      ”If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”

Rom 12:14,17 -

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.

Fighting with friends is an everyday problem, a problem we think we can solve ourselves, but you cant, you need someone to give you guidance, you need someone to tell you if you’re wrong and being selfish, that someone is God, He is the only one that can show you the right way, talk to him and ask Him to help you….He will!!
